We all believe that when our parents die, we'll be prepared. We believe we'll have time to say goodbye. We'll find comfort in the fact that they lived a long and full life. More importantly, there will be no surprises.
When internationally renowned network news anchor Robert Lambert succumbs to a fatal heart attack during the evening news, his daughter Leez is faced with the unexpected loss of her father, the crushing pressure of his celebrity status and the inability to let go of the man she thought would be there forever. Her feelings of unrest are elevated by whispers of murder coming from her father's subordinates and the media, who won't let go of the story.
Leez goes on a quest to find out more about the man she thought she knew better than anyone else. What she discovers is that no one is who they seem, not even the people she's known all her life.
